About Mr. Hesselink

My name is Thomas Hesselink, and I am excited to begin my eighth year of teaching. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh and my Master of Science in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching students in grades 5 through 12, allowing me to develop a deep appreciation for each stage of a student's academic journey.

I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember, and being able to share both my passion for learning and my Catholic faith is truly a blessing. As Pope St. John Paul II said, "No Catholic school can be effective without dedicated Catholic teachers." I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of a faith-filled community where I can help students grow academically, spiritually, and personally while encouraging them to achieve more than they ever thought possible.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, Bruno and Maui, and traveling with my family whenever I have the opportunity. I look forward to partnering with students and families to make this a successful, faith-filled, and memorable school year.
