ANOINTING OF THE SICK


By the sacred anointing of the sick and the prayer of the priests the whole Church commends those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord, that he may raise them up and save them. and indeed she exhorts them to contribute to the good of the People of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passion and death of Christ (CCC 1499).

Receiving the Sacrament


Those who are suffering from serious illness, the elderly and those who are anticipating surgery may receive the sacrament of the anointing of the sick. There are opportunities to receive the sacrament after Mass during the year at each of the parishes.
 

If you are seeking the graces of this sacrament, please participate in the regularly scheduled anointing at one of the parishes, or contact the Tri-Parish office to make arrangements for Fr. Paul (920) 918-7021, or another priest to anoint you, or a loved one.
